World leaders have failed us all when it comes to the climate crisis. The most recent IPCC report says that humanity is not on track to keep climate change within the 1.5 degrees Celsius “safe zone.”
The UN Secretary General described the report as a “file of shame” full of “empty promises.” The report also says that scaling up solar energy and reducing the destruction of forests and other ecosystems can significantly mitigate the effects of carbon in our atmosphere.
