Donald Trump did a call-in interview with Sean Hannity that may be on par with his 2020 Axios interview with Jonathan Swan in terms of how depraved and idiotic it was. Perhaps the funniest part of the exchange was when Hannity made a metaphor about how some of what Joe Biden is doing is like he’s repeatedly banging his head against a wall. Trump took what Hannity was saying literally and brought up the US-Mexico border.
He responded, “so we would have had the wall completed in three weeks. It was largely completed.” Ironically, after this embarrassment, they talked about Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities and Trump bragged about how well he did on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment which is meant to screen for dementia. During the interview, Hannity also complimented Trump on “creating” the monoclonal antibody treatment for COVID. Trump’s interview abilities seem to be worsening with time and his recycling of talking points just continues to fall flat.
