The Department of Justice is seeking more surveillance footage from Mar-a-Lago following the search of Donald Trump’s property that took place earlier this month. The DOJ already has their hands on some of it and getting that very footage expedited the process of the FBI going down there to seize the documents. But now the department is seemingly aware that they didn’t get it all. It’s clear that the DOJ is doing everything it can in this investigation to make sure it has a rock-solid case every step of the way as they inch closer and closer to making the unprecedented move of charging a former president. Part of this due diligence may have to include a second sweep of the property if a request for the extra surveillance footage goes ignored.
