Conspiracy theorist and Infowars host Alex Jones continue to turn his back on Donald Trump, and now he’s coming out as a full-fledged Ron DeSantis supporter. Jones had previously been upset with Trump for getting the COVID booster shot, and now he’s gone even further by backing Trump’s possible opponent in the upcoming 2024 Republican primaries. Alex said on his show, “I’ve gone from liking DeSantis to loving DeSantis to my instincts have told me he’s good to he’s got my full backing. He’s the real deal; he’s better than Trump. I’m not trying to pick favorites here. I want Trump to get jealous and become more like DeSantis. We all need to be more like DeSantis. He’s a gentleman; he’s smart, he’s a family man, he’s a patriot, he’s a veteran, he’s our leader.” It used to be a foregone conclusion that Trump would win the 2024 Republican primary if he chose to run. As it turns out, the former president may fight with his hands because the Florida governor’s stock is surging in these far-right circles.
