Economic Update: People to People: Horizontal Social Change

Marina Sitrin is an associate professor of sociology at SUNY Binghamton, working on, and participating in societies in movement and collective action. Her latest book, co-edited with Colectiva Sembrar, is Pandemic Solidarity. She has also written Horizontalism: Voices of Popular Power in Argentina; Everyday Revolutions: Horizontalism and Autonomy in Argentina and They Can't Represent Us!: Reinventing Democracy from Greece to Occupy.

Economic Update with Richard D. Wolff takes complex economic issues and makes them understandable, empowering listeners with information to analyze not only their financial situation but the economy at large.

By focusing on the economic dimensions of everyday life - wages, jobs, taxes, debts, interest rates, prices, and profits - the program explores alternative ways to organize markets and government policies.
