“You Should Resign”: Elizabeth Warren Grills Wells Fargo CEO

At a Senate Banking Committee hearing on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016, Senator Elizabeth Warren asked Wells Fargo CEO, John Stumpf, tough questions in regards to the bank giants’ “scam” called “cross-selling” which aims to increase the number of accounts each customer holds. Warren eventually told Stumpf, “"You should resign ... and you should be criminally investigated."
