There, Nicolas Maduro is in his first full week after being sworn in as president, after the national electoral commission declared him the winner in a narrow victory on April 14. The commission has said an audit of the votes will take about a month to complete, but it doesn’t expect the results to change. The US has yet to recognize the Maduro presidency.
