Former Vice President Dick Cheney is once again making the rounds of the Sunday morning talk shows to tell us that the Iraq War was one of the best foreign policy decisions in a generation. The talking points of a war-hungry geriatric who once shot his friend in the face because he mistook him for a bird mean relatively little in today’s political discourse, but it’s what Cheney is doing behind the scenes that should have all of us deeply concerned.
