A laptop belonging to a Trump aide containing classified documents has been handed over to federal prosecutors along with additional classified records and an empty folder marked “classified evening briefing.” The laptop belonged to an aide who worked for Save America PAC, which distributes money raised for political purposes. This aide was almost certainly not someone who should have access to classified documents. The protracted effort by the Justice Department to repossess records from Trump's presidency may not be done yet, and the investigation into the mishandling of classified information by Trump aides may continue. This laptop matter further exposes the right wing as hypocrites since they’re staying silent about it despite years of attacking Hunter Biden and his “laptop from hell.” This also further goes to show how reckless Trump was in his handling of classified material, and how he doesn’t deserve to be in possession of government secrets again.
