Move to Amend's Kaitliin Sopoci-Belknap Hosts FSTV Facebook Live Discussion

On May 10th, 2017, on the 131st anniversary of Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad (1886), Free Speech TV aired Legalize Democracy, a film from Move to Amend. This Supreme Court decision opened the door to allow corporations to claim constitutional rights (Corporate Personhood).

The film portrays the historic role of U.S. Courts in the meteoric rise of corporate power in American politics. Move to Amend's National Leadership Team documents the transformation of the corporation from an institution of public service, created and regulated by government, into an institution with the same constitutional rights as living people, and sufficient wealth to control and subvert a government by and for the people.
