USA Today reported a ticket buying frenzy to strike the record breaking Mega Million lottery pot on Friday. Many Nevadans road-tripped across the border into California because Nevada doesn't sell Mega Million tickets. Thom says that this is a sad commentary on the American middle-class, that so many people that are scraping by, think they, "have a better chance of winning the lotto than working in the dead-end service sector."
