In Canada, the anniversary of the Occupy movement coincided with the opening of parliament. In the capital Ottawa, Occupy members joined union leaders and other activists in marching through the streets towards the steps of the nation’s legislature calling for the resignation of conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
