The fossil fuel industry is one of the key contributors to global climate change. A new tactic that has emerged to combat the growing climate change problem is divestment. What is it? Divestment calls on businesses to remove their investment money from fossil fuel companies while leveraging political pressure against those same companies.
If anything is going to change, there must be widespread pressure.
