George Zimmerman Trial: Defense Tries to Discredit Friend on Phone

The Florida trial of George Zimmerman is wrapping up its first week of testimony. The neighborhood watch volunteer is charged with second-degree murder for the killing of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed African-American teenager, last year. The prosecution's star witness, 19-year-old high school student Rachel Jeantel, testified over the course of two days on her phone conversation with Martin right before he died. A reluctant witness, Jeantel came under aggressive questioning from Zimmerman's attorneys, who raised issues of her comprehension of English and manner of speaking.
