This week Israel allowed 20 trucks carrying building materials to enter Gaza, bringing much-needed supplies and gravel to an area still recovering from Israeli bombardment in November. Sunday’s truck delivery is part of ceasefire negotiations that ended November’s assault on the coastal strip. The agreement mandated that Gaza-based armed factions stop firing homemade rockets into nearby Israeli areas, and Israel ease some measures imposed on the Gaza Strip.
