President Donald Trump’s raucous and frequent political rallies have come to a standstill in the era of the coronavirus. Now he has turned to frequent press briefings from the White House with his coronavirus task force” in order to remain in the public eye as he eyes reelection this November.

But, after getting uncomfortable scrutiny from reporters, Trump has settled on his favorite media outlet, Fox News, where his perpetually incorrect and deadly notions about the virus are being amplified.

Rising Up with Sonali is a radio and television show that brings progressive news coverage rooted in gender and racial justice to a wide audience.

Rising Up With Sonali was built on the foundation of Sonali Kolhatkar's earlier show, Uprising, which became the longest-running drive-time radio show on KPFK in Los Angeles hosted by a woman.
