The phone records of Eric Trump and Kimberly Guilfoyle have been subpoenaed by the January 6th committee as part of its ongoing investigation into what happened on that day and in the lead up to it. The records will show the committee logs of ongoing and outgoing calls, their dates and times, and some text message information as well.
Both parties played prominent roles in the “Stop the Steal” campaign and spoke at the January 6th rally that preceded the Capitol insurrection. The phone records of over 100 other people have already been subpoenaed, but now this investigation is reaching members of the Trump family and inner circle.
However, Eric Trump and Guilfoyle have as of now not been personally required to appear for interviews or hand over documents. Questions remain over whether the committee will implicate Donald Trump personally, but it’s certainly moving more and more in that direction every day.
