Nicole Hill, a displaced Katrina survivor, whose water was shut off in Detroit, Michigan, talks about what motivated her to join the Poor People's Campaign in Washington D.C. After she was given a nearly $6,000 water bill from Detroit without explanation of the charges, she decided to speak out. "I'm able bodied. I'm able to get out and get water. Who's going to fight the elderly people? Who's going to fight for the disabled people? Who's going to fight for the mothers with infant babies," she wondered before taking on the fight herself.
