CIA Whistleblower Says Investigate and Prosecute Those who Flouted the Law

In a broadcast exclusive interview, Democracy Now! interviews John Kiriakou, a retired CIA agent who blew the whistle on torture and is the only official to be jailed for any reason relating to the torture program under President Bush. He's just been released from prison to serve the remaining three months of his 30-month sentence under house arrest, and joins us from his home in Virginia. He responds to details of the partially released Senate Committee Report on the CIA's use of torture, such as the use of forced rectal feeding, by calling for the prosecution of those involved. “Those were not approved interrogation techniques. Why aren’t those officers being prosecuted?”
