Bernie Sanders: “I Am Dangerous For Wall Street”

During Wednesday night’s Univision debate, the candidates sparred on several topics, old and new. One of the oldies (but goodies) was the ever-present Wall Street speaking fees topic which came back up when Senator Sanders discussed his own popularity (or lack of) with the cronies of Wall Street and Big Banks.

Senator Sanders mentioned Clinton’s well-payed speeches before invoking a comment that Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein made last month when he referred to Sanders’s campaign as a “dangerous moment” for bankers and billionaires.

Serving as the best endorsement for Sanders so far, Blankfein’s comment sent a clear message to the American people: Sanders means every word he says, and the thugs on top are shaking in their boots.

During the debate, Sanders declared, “I am dangerous for Wall Street,” to thunderous applause. A high-point in a debate that Sanders easily carried.

Watch.
