4 Women Running on Socialist Platforms Unseat Male Incumbents in PA Primary

Four Pennsylvania state House candidates backed by the Democratic Socialists of America won their Democratic primaries Tuesday: Summer Lee, a lawyer and labor organizer; Elizabeth Fiedler, a former public radio reporter; Sara Innamorato, the founder of a women’s advocacy group; and Kristin Seale, who works at an energy conservation nonprofit. All four female candidates unseated male state representatives in Tuesday’s primaries. DN! speak with Ryan Grim, D.C. bureau chief for The Intercept.
