What do the Grateful Dead and sharp business deals have in common? They seem like two completely different ideas, but our guest today, Marc Morgenstern, talks about the similarities of attending a Dead show, and making a shrewd business deal. He explains that the psychology of a successful dealmaker requires spontaneity, comfort with change and unpredictability, and enjoying the process as it presents itself. As a fan who has seen hundreds of Grateful Dead shows, he talks about how the band uses these traits to perform thousands of concerts for their fans – ultimately giving them a different and unique experience during each performance.
