Using both television and the Internet, Free Speech TV inspires viewers to become civically engaged to build a more just, equitable, and sustainable society. Free Speech TV is owned and operated by Public Communicators, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization, founded in 1974. Free Speech TV is based in Denver, CO.
On television, Free Speech TV reaches 30 million U.S. homes, broadcasting fulltime on DISH Network (channel 9415) and part-time on 200 community cable affiliates. Viewers can search the TV schedule online and subscribe to a weekly E-Guide that highlights upcoming programs.
On the Internet, Free Speech TV serves up video to a large international audience via its own website, social networking sites, media-sharing sites, and viral person-to-person distribution. Its website features both videos-on-demand and a 24/7 online channel. Viewers can subscribe to RSS feeds and are encouraged to join online conversations about the issues raised in the videos.
